Announcing the Launch of IHGTC.com with Holistic Blogs and More

Featuring Posts in Categories: Health, Outdoors, Science and Travel

The founders of IHGTC are pleased to announce the launch of their brand new website featuring holistic blogs in categories – Health, Outdoors, Science, and Travel. The founders created this platform with a respect to the Global Therapeutic Cultures, a movement that focuses on therapeutic cultures, popular psychology, and happiness. What motivated these individuals to start this website is the book “The Routledge International Handbook of Global Therapeutic Cultures which was released on 25th August 2020. The authors of this book are Daniel Nehring, a professor, and peripatetic sociologist; Ole Jacob Madsen, a Norwegian psychologist; Edgar Cabanas, a psychologist and happiness expert; China Mills, an author, professor, and researcher; and Dylan Kerrigan, a researcher, and lecturer in socio-cultural anthropology, criminology, and political sociology.

All these masterminds in their respective fields came together to create this book which is nothing less than a movement. It focuses on bringing together their expertise backed by studies of therapeutic cultures related to sociology, psychology, anthropology, politics, education, history, law, social work, developmental studies, and cultural studies. The book is a guide to looking at the past and see how one can improve their present and future thereby improving the entire ecosystem, the society, and the community that surrounds them. The founders of IHGTC strongly believe in the objective of this book and hence created this platform to help people excel both on their physical and emotional front whilst paying homage to their predecessors.

The Health Category brings together some highly informative articles on Food & Diet and Weight Loss. Obesity is associated with a multitude of health risks. Thanks to the internet people are now more aware of these risks and trying to take the healthier route. This site covers important topics such as top reasons to detox regularly, insight into healthy eating, benefits of drinking 2 liters of clean water every day, and the basics of intermittent fasting. The other weight loss topics covered are the best home gym equipment, losing weight the smart way, and making use of cardio workouts for belly fat loss.

A healthy lifestyle doesn’t just mean eating well and exercising. It is about being fit in a holistic way by keeping emotional wellbeing in place. Stress is one of the major factors leading to heart ailments, blood pressure, diabetes, and other serious health issues. People between the ages of 30 to 40 are more vulnerable to stress because of the pressure that they face at work and on a personal front. While many are succumbing to mental illnesses, others are victims of heart attacks and strokes. As much as it is important to keep the physiological elements in check, it is also important to take care of mental health. The post about Two Secrets to Holistic Health Revealed covers a few aspects of holistic living.
