Award-Winning Boutique Sonoma Winery Opens Reserves

Acclaimed, small-production wines are now available through Cyber Monday, Halleck Vineyard is opening their reserves to non-members.

For 20 years, boutique Sonoma winery Halleck Vineyard in Sebastopol, California, has been making acclaimed, sought-after wines poured in some of the most exclusive restaurants and private clubs in America.

These are cool climate, small production wines you can only get at the finest restaurants such as Daniel (2 Michelin Stars), Portale (1 Michelin Star), and Mourad (1 Michelin Star) as well as private clubs like The Core Club in NYC and The Pacific Union Club in San Francisco.

Hard-to-get, small-production wines are, by definition, always in short supply. Allocations get snapped up by Halleck Vineyard Inner Circle Wine Club members, restaurants, and sommeliers. But through Cyber Monday, Halleck Vineyard is opening their reserves to non-members. Wine enthusiasts can acquire a full 12-bottle case of some of their most sought-after Sonoma wines for the price of 10.

In an age dominated by mega wineries owned by E & J Gallo Winery and Constellation Brands, Halleck Vineyard is an artisan boutique making fewer than 2,500 award-winning cases of wine each year, with vintner, Ross Halleck, overseeing from grape to glass. Each bottle is lovingly handcrafted and can be enjoyed at intimate Sonoma wine tasting salons at the Halleck Vineyard Sebastopol Estate.

These are small wine experiences for up to 16 guests at a time, Thursday through Sunday, at their Estate Winery. Surrounded by the oldest Pinot Noir vineyard in Sebastopol, it was planted in 1993 before the varietal became as popular, in part to the popularity of the Academy Award-winning film Sideways, which celebrated the varietal.

Halleck Vineyard Pinot Noirs have been judged Best in Class again and again by The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and the Los Angeles International Wine and Spirits Competition. And award-winning, internationally syndicated wine columnist Dan Berger called their very first Pinot Noir vintage “exceptional.”

Halleck Vineyard Whites wines have earned top accolades as well. The Halleck Vineyard Dry Gewurztraminer earned 99 pts and was judged Best Micro White White at the California State Fair and Best Overall White at the Los Angeles International Wine and Spirits Competition.

All their wines can be sampled at their unpretentious, intimate Sonoma wine tasting salons.

Allocations can be secured through their Inner Circle Winer Club, and all wines are available online in three-bottle increments for nonmembers. Now through Dec. 25, 2022, while reserves last, for the following varietals, Halleck Vineyard is offering an entire 12-bottle case for the price of 10 bottles.

About Halleck Vineyard

In 2003, Halleck Vineyard – nestled in Sebastopol Hills in the Russian River Valley– won the first place prize at the Pinot Noir Summit for their 2001 Estate Grown Pinot. In 2009, their Estate Grown Pinot Noir earned a perfect rating and was called “Extraordinary” by nationally syndicated wine columnist Dan Berger who wrote, “If I judged wines on a 100-point scale, I wouldn’t take a single point away from this wine.” Nearly a decade later, in 2018, Somm Journal Magazine named Halleck Vineyard as one of the top 5 vineyards in Sonoma County. Since then, under the stewardship of Jennifer and Ross Halleck, Halleck Vineyard wines continue to receive 90+ scores as well as Best In Class, Best in Show, Gold, and Double Gold accolades. They also host intimate Sonoma wine tasting events Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at their estate home.
