CannabisRezept.Berlin has launched as a local medical cannabis portal. It connects patients with 45+ city pharmacies for legal access in just 60 minutes, offering a faster, personalized alternative.
With the official launch of CannabisRezept.Berlin the capital city is getting its first specialized platform for medical cannabis, which focuses on hyper-localization. While national telemedicine providers often operate anonymously, the new portal connects Berlin patients directly with over 45 partner pharmacies in the city, enabling legal access to the medication within just 60 minutes.
Local expertise instead of anonymous platforms
The Berlin cannabis market is undergoing a transformation. Despite partial legalization, many consumers, due to a lack of knowledge or bureaucratic hurdles, continue to resort to the unreliable black market. This is where CannabisRezept.Berlin comes in. CannabisRezept.Berlin “We want to usher in the ‘Berlin Green Revolution’,” explains the team behind the platform. “Our goal is to provide Berliners with safe, medically supervised access to lab-tested medical cannabis – directly from their neighborhood.”
Three steps to the recipe – safe and quick
The platform minimizes the hurdles for patients. In a digitized process that takes only about two to three minutes, patients can request a prescription, which is then reviewed by cooperating doctors. Once approved, the prescription is sent directly to one of the partner pharmacies in Berlin. The result: patients can often pick up their medication the same day or have it delivered to their home by courier in record time.
Innovation: The Berlin Cannabis Profile System (BCPS®)
A particular highlight of the new website is the custom-developed BCPS® (Berlin Cannabis Profile System). Instead of having to wade through cryptic strain names, the system categorizes medicinal flowers according to clear parameters such as effect, potency, and terpene profiles. This allows patients to intuitively find precisely the support they need for their specific health requirements.
