Burnham Nationwide Announces New Continuing Education Courses
The Code Group announces three new AIA certified courses for continuing education credit.
Burnham Nationwide, the leading name in building code compliance and permit management, has announced three new continuing education courses. This year’s building code courses kick off with three, distinct courses focused on breaking down building code and how to properly integrate building code into construction projects. These building code continuing education courses are a great opportunity for individuals, teams, and companies to learn from experts.
With their mission of “simply getting it done” and following it through with excellent execution, Burnham Nationwide has become a the preferred choice for projects that have complex planning, submission, and approval processes. Few companies have the experience that Burnham does, having worked in more than 3,000 municipalities across the United States, obtaining upwards of 10,000 permits yearly. Burnham Nationwide also serves a wide variety of clientele from Fortune 500 companies and some of the top development firms in the country to smaller specialized design and construction firms with special needs.
“We completely manage the permitting process for new construction and renovation projects of all sizes, as well as more intricate applications, including licensing of all kinds, multi-site expansion with our commercial and enterprise clients, land use/zoning resolution, and public way services,” said Carson Kyhl, Principal at Burnham Nationwide.
What sets Burnham Nationwide apart from other permit management companies is its experienced team of project managers who will evaluate the project, offer the best customized advice, and use their know-how to expedite the process for clients. This same team of experts contributes to the course content of the new building code continuing education courses.
Certified architects or anyone interested in knowing more about the process of how to understand and effectively apply building code requirements can register for any one of the three webinars; there is no requirement to take all three, but each course does build on the knowledge of the previous one. Christopher Chwedyk AIA, CSI, NCARB, will conduct the three-part series that focuses on “How to integrate building code into projects.” Each of the three courses will count toward one AIA Continuing Education Credit, with HSW designation pending but expected. A syllabus with course descriptions is available on Burnham’s registration page; and the course and dates are as follows:
Feb. 29, 2024 - Code Information Gathering Basics
April 25, 2024 - Conducting a Preliminary Code Analysis for Your Project
June 27, 2024 - Creating a ‘Permit-Ready’ Set of Documents
Additionally, Burnham Nationwide also offers two on-demand classes with its accredited and experienced professionals for a variety of continuing education credits.
