“There’s a common misconception that Pilates is only for the ultra-coordinated and super flexible – and that’s just not the case! We want to empower women to enjoy Pilates in a supportive and welcoming environment where there’s plenty of time to take it slowly and figure it all out”

– Allana Frisken, Founder & CEO, Muse Pilates

The fundamentals class aims to provide new Pilates students with the theory and practice needed to get the most out of future classes.

The new class is suited to complete newcomers or those looking to revisit the basics.

“Stepping into a new workout routine can be intimidating, especially if you're new to the studio, so our Fundamentals class is designed as a gentle and easy-going introduction. We're here to build your confidence and provide a solid foundation in Pilates fundamentals.”

– Allana Frisken, Founder & CEO, Muse Pilates

The class helps students grasp the core principles of secure movement and familiarise themselves with the anatomy of the reformer bed.

Muse Pilates recommends undertaking the fundamentals class twice to experience the full benefits.

“To ensure you're fully prepared for more advanced sessions, we recommend immersing yourself in the Fundamentals experience twice. However, as always, the pace of your progress is entirely up to you. We encourage you to move at a pace that feels comfortable and enjoyable.”

– Allana Frisken, Founder & CEO, Muse Pilates

Students will learn from highly experienced, passionate instructors dedicated to helping students get the most out of their classes.

The classes are available at all ten Muse Pilates studios throughout Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle.
