Open Spots for Youth Basketball Summer Tournaments Through Chicagoland Youth Basketball
Chicagoland Youth Basketball has announced the availability of open spots for youth basketball teams wanting to compete in upcoming summer tournaments. All games will take place over the weekends.
The Chicagoland Youth Basketball Network (CYBN) has announced the availability of open spots for youth basketball teams interested in playing at the upcoming summer tournaments. Participating teams will compete in highly competitive games that are characteristic of CYBN’s summer activities. With over half of the summer tournaments completed, which saw spectacular games between competing teams, the games slated for the remainder of the season are becoming even more exciting and competitive.
The youth basketball summer tournaments still open for registrations are Dawg Days Classic, Summer Championships, Midwest Shootout, Supreme Hoopfest, Back To School Showdown, and Crossover Classic. All the tournaments are promised to be hyper-competitive and affordably priced in classic CYBN fashion. Boys and Girls Teams from grades 3rd to 12th can register to compete in all the listed tournaments.
Dawg Days Classic will take place on Saturday 23rd July 2022. Registration in this tournament costs $125.
The CYBN Summer Championships will take place over the last weekend of July on the 30th and 31st of July 2022. It will feature 2-game shootout matches with $125 registration and 3-game shootout matches with the registration fee of $165.
The Midwest Shootout is the 2-game shootout tournament scheduled for the first weekend of August, on the 6th and 7th, of August 2022. The registration fee for this tournament is $100.
The Supreme Hoopfest is also a 2- game shootout tournament taking place on the 13th and 14th of August 2022. The registration fee for this tournament is also $100.
Back To School Showdown is the next two-game shootout event that will take place on August 20th and 21st, 2022. This competition also has a $100 registration fee.
CYBN officials promise that the summer tournaments will go off with a bang. Therefore, the last tournament in August is the fan favorite, Crossover Classic, which will take place on the 27th and 28th of August 2022. This is also a 2-game shootout tournament with a $100 registration fee.

"Summer tournaments are some of the most entertaining and competitive team games. All of the players, coaches, parents and even our game officials are ecstatic with the talent and level of gameplay we are witnessing this season as well. Because kids have more free time over the summer, they can devote more time to training and exercise; and we can clearly see the results in their matches. The opportunity to compete against other teams in professionally officiated basketball matches allows these young players to enhance their gaming prowess. But that's not all; our teams are also showcasing their talent to talent scouts and coaches from across the country," explains a Chicagoland Youth Basketball representative when asked about the opportunities these summer tournaments provide to participating teams.
About Chicago Youth Basketball Network
The Chicago Youth Basketball Network (CYBN) is one of Chicago's most recognized and active youth basketball organizations. At present, they serve over 5000 teams, and the number of registrations is growing each year. The organization helps many schools and other organizations save up to $250,000 annually. However, the uptick in the number of teams registering and those that are poised to register will have a positive effect on the sport. Although the Chicago Youth Basketball Network isn't a tournament broker and does not invest capital in any basketball team, they provide the school districts and municipalities the opportunity to rent courts at a discounted price. The CYBN and its growing partner network own several gyms in Chicago. The fees are 25% of what they usually are with the same facilities. That means organizations save money and keep the gyms filled; a win-win for everyone.
