Intelligent Energy Drink Designed to Deliver Optimum Health Benefits with a Burst of Antioxidants

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - 14th December 2020 – I.E. Green Tea has gained huge popularity among the masses that love green tea. One of the major reasons being the way it is delivered that too in the most unexpected way. Green tea in a liquid form and this is what defines the Intelligent Energy Green Tea. The liquid packets let people make their tea any which way they want – hot, cold, or sparkling tea any time of the day and anywhere at work, home or gym. Now, there has always been much debate as to which tea is the best – green tea or Matcha tea.

Pure Organic Green Tea Concentrate Versus Matcha Green Tea

Pure Organic Green Tea Concentrate Versus Matcha Green Tea, Which Is Best?

To make a precise comparison we wanted to see what each serving of Matcha Tea and IE Green Tea contained. Therefore we looked at antioxidant content, EGCG content, and caffeine content. Many people think that Matcha green tea has more of each than pure organic green tea. Is this true? Let's see if this is actually the case.

We looked at standard servings of Matcha Green Tea and IE Green Tea Liquid Concentrate.

Antioxidants (Antioxidants are compounds produced in your body and found in foods. They help defend your cells from damage caused by potentially harmful molecules known as free radicals).

Matchasoure.com states that one serving of matcha green tea (1.8 grams) contains the antioxidant equivalent of 10 cups of standard green tea. iegreentea.com states that one serving of their liquid green tea contains the antioxidant equivalent of 14 cups of standard green tea.

Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), also known as epigallocatechin-3-gallate, is the ester of epigallocatechin and gallic acid and is a type of catechin.

EGCG is the most abundant catechin in tea. It is a polyphenol under basic research for its potential to affect human health and disease. EGCG is used in many dietary supplements.

Matchasoure.com states that one serving of matcha green tea (1.8 grams) contains 61 milligrams of EGCG’s, while iegreentea.com states that one serving contains approximately 80 milligrams of EGCG slightly more.

Caffeine content is a more difficult metric to measure, the truth is that all green tea contains caffeine, even decaffeinated varieties. They are really reduced caffeine content, and there are many decaffeination processes.

Matchasoure.com states that their caffeinated variety contains 63mg of caffeine per serving (1.8 grams) compared to iegreentea.com who states that their caffeinated variety contains 45mg of caffeine per serving, slightly less.

The analysis shows that green tea concentrate from IE Green Tea actually outperforms Matcha green tea, the cost per serving for Matcha is $35.00 for 20 servings while IE Green Tea the cost for 24 servings is currently $21.00. Per serving that is $1.75 VS $0.88 so IE Green Tea wins here too!

Preparation Process

Both the teas are similar in traits, however, when given a closer look, Matcha tea is usually prepared using a specific technique. Matcha in its powdered form has more caffeine than coffee. It also consists of more concentrated caffeine when compared to other green teas.

Why Matcha tea is so preferred is because it improves weight maintenance when it oxidizes fat and thermogenesis. This tea also holds up to 137 times more antioxidants than most regular teas and 10 times more than the average green tea. However, a body takes up to six hours to absorb the caffeine and it lasts longer than normal green teas.

I.E. Green Tea in its liquid form has up to 150 times more antioxidants than regular teas and 14 times more than the average green teas.

Each packet of I.E. green tea contains up to 320mg antioxidants, 111mg of EGCG, and 45mg of caffeine which is far less caffeine when compared to Matcha tea.

The “caffeine high” will last for a longer period of time with Matcha tea and this can cause some serious side effects in the long run; whereas I.E. Green Tea with its brewing process makes it the best-decaffeinated solution allowing green tea drinkers to get their daily dose of antioxidants without the high caffeine content.

Ease of use

One of the drawbacks of Matcha tea is that the Matcha powder can only be added to boiling water. With I.E. Green Tea it is as simple as cutting the packet and pouring the green tea concentrate in hot, cold, or normal water, you simply stir it and then drink it.

Intelligent Energy Green Tea (IE) boasts of 300mg of antioxidants per packet which is more or less equivalent to 14 cups of green tea, but it does not produce the caffeine high that Matcha does.

IE Green tea is also available in a variety of all-natural pure organic citrus green tea flavors, all of which are available as caffeinated or decaffeinated varieties.

The green tea packets are pre-brewed and ready to add to water and drink, no preparation necessary, ideal for green tea on the go, at work, or at the gym - pre-workout and or post-workout for that fitness energy boost.
