Amanjit Kaur, founder of Earnest Immigration and Citizenship and a trusted immigration consultant in Windsor, is offering her Canada immigration consultant services for free

In response to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, Amanjit Kaur, founder of Earnest Immigration and Citizenship and a trusted immigration consultant in Windsor, is offering her Canada immigration consultant services for free to those in need. Just a few days into the conflict, Kaur took to social media to offer help to anyone seeking information on potentially resettling in Canada. The outpouring of support was immediate, with over 350 queries received in the first 24 hours.

Kaur's team, well-versed in immigration and naturalization service, has now begun to put together a list of employers willing to hire refugees, including those with lower-skilled jobs that do not require a degree or professional accreditation. The federal government has already waived some restrictions, allowing an unlimited number of nationals fleeing Ukraine to obtain a temporary emergency visa.

"We are compiling a list of employers and settlement services that can be helpful for these people as and when they arrive," Kaur stated. "We will have the crisis list to show [refugees] that once you are here, you won't be alone. We have over 40 employers, and this list is growing."

Many refugees fleeing the conflict in Ukraine, such as Mbaka Nobert, are looking to continue their education and resettle in a safer place. Nobert, who lived in Ukraine for four years as an international student before the war began, is now temporarily residing in Hungary. For him, Windsor offers the best opportunities to continue his studies in computer science.

However, some refugees like Chenai Matowe are concerned about assimilating into the Canadian system as a refugee. Kaur reassured that her team, experienced in Canada immigration and naturalization service, is working to address these concerns and support refugees in their resettlement process.

"We wanted it to be more than just living room news. We are committed to helping refugees escape the crisis and move to a safer place, where they can restart their lives." - Kaur concluded.
