Wisconsin General Contractor Scherrer Construction Breaks Ground on Millennium New Corporate Headquarters

Scherrer Construction announced that the construction company had broken ground on the new corporate headquarters for Millennium. The new headquarters will cover 75,000 square feet, in Delavan, WI.

Scherrer Construction, announced the company had started work on the brand new Millennium, headquarters which spans a massive 75,000 square-foot, complete with fiber-optic broadband networks. According to the official press release, the new headquarters will feature two floors of offices, with over 60,000-square-foot warehouse space. Based on the figures, the new facility will be more than double the size of the existing Millennium headquarters. While the project is a massive undertaking, Scherrer Construction has the experience and credibility needed to pull it off.

Millennium’s new headquarters

As with any massive project, Scherrer Construction will have a logistical challenge on its hands. However, the company has over the years proven that it can handle large projects both in collaboration with other contractors and standing on its own. In fact, many believe that the success of other Scherrer Construction’s large projects is what helped them win the Millennium headquarters project. The estimated time of completion of the project is slated as sometime in the Summer of 2022.

The ground breaking ceremony was led by CEO James Kyle and Millennium President Nate Wendt, other members of the executive team, and Delavan city officials. The ceremony was also attended by employees from many locations.

“Millennium has seen rapid growth since we relocated our headquarters from Lake Geneva to Delavan, Wisconsin,” explained Millennium CEO, James Kyle. “This expansion will allow us to continue our great work here in the city of Delavan.”

“It’s exciting to be a part of helping a company expand, especially in our home state of Wisconsin,” explained Jeff Neumann, Director of Process Management of Scherrer Construction.

Millennium’s CEO has stated that the new headquarters will incorporate most of its own fiber-optic technology. The new project is also expected to be completed by September 2022, an ambitious date for completion, but with Scherrer Construction heading the work, it is a pretty realistic timeline considering the company’s previous projects.
